Who We Are

Lagarsoft LLC ("Lagarsoft," "we," "us") is a software engineering company headquartered in Jackson, WY. This policy covers data collected through the Lagarsoft Software Architect skill and the website at architect.lagarsoft.com.

What Data We Collect

• Email address — provided when you sign in to use the Architect skill.
• Marketing consent record — whether you opted in to marketing emails, the exact consent text shown, the timestamp, and your IP address at the time of consent.
• Session data — temporary authentication tokens used to link your browser session to Claude Code.

We do not collect your name, company, payment information, or any content from your Claude Code conversations.

How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: Your email is used to verify your identity and provide access to the Architect skill. This is necessary to deliver the service you requested.
• Marketing (only with your consent): If you check the marketing consent box, we will send you occasional emails about software architecture best practices, product updates, and Lagarsoft services. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Service delivery: Legitimate interest — processing your email is necessary to authenticate you and provide the skill.
• Marketing emails: Consent — we only send marketing emails if you explicitly opt in via the checkbox on the sign-in form.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. Your data may be processed by the following service providers, solely to operate this service:

• Resend — email delivery (verification codes and marketing emails)
• Vercel — hosting and database

We will never transfer your email address to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

• Authentication sessions and codes are automatically deleted after expiry (10–15 minutes).
• API tokens expire after 30 days.
• Your email and consent record are retained until you request deletion.
• If you unsubscribe from marketing, we retain your email with a suppression flag to ensure we do not contact you again.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in every email or at architect.lagarsoft.com/unsubscribe.
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data entirely (right to erasure).
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time without affecting your access to the skill.

Unsubscribe Process

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at architect.lagarsoft.com/unsubscribe. Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect your ability to use the Architect skill.

Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Vercel (Neon) with encryption at rest. Authentication tokens are cryptographically generated. All connections use HTTPS.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to users who have opted in to marketing. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
